Capture the bygone age of steam in these beautiful porcelain pictures of which there are 6 to collect (Each plaque is 16cm in diameter). Purchase them individually or as a set (standing order option available please see further down this page). A must for any rail enthusiast

From top to bottom they are

 

  1. LMS 4-6-0 No. 6100 ‘Royal Scot’ built in 1927 it is suggested that this picture was taken quite early in its life judging by its livery.
  2. LNER A1 class pacific No. 2578 ‘Bayardo, The location of the picture used for this plaque is Durham Cathedral (the cathedral can be seen in the background) - Late 1092’s/ early 30’s. The most famous of the a1’s was No. 4472 ‘Flying Scotsman’
  3. GWR 4-6-0 Kings Class possibly No. 6001 ‘King Edward V11@. This picture was taken on the sea wall between Dawlish and Teignmouth.
  4. LNER A1 class No. 2577 ‘Night Hawk’ on the Royal Bridge at Berwick.
  5. SR ‘Lord Nelson’ class 4-6-01 possibly No.850 ‘Lord Nelson’ The location is near Folkstone
  6. MR/LMS class 4P 4-4-0. These were commonly known as ‘Midland Compounds’

 

Each porcelain plaque captures beautifully this bygone age and is a must for any steam train enthusiast because of the quality of the pictures used in this collection

    From left to right the porcelain plaques depict the following trains in majestic glory capturing clearly and perfectly the beautiful age of steam and the romance of the era. (Each plaque is 16cm in diameter)
