The portraits we supply come from Italy and it was in Italy that the idea and subsequent manufacture of these portraits began. They are the leaders in the technology used to manufacture this product and as such the process has through many years continually been improved and with constant testing they will not fade and are as permanent as the marker they are placed upon.

Monuments portraits are fired at very light temperatures during the printing process. Then during the firing process the temperature can rise up to 9oo degrees centigrade this ensures that the colour will not fade and the finish will not deteriorate. In short as we have already stated these memorial portraits will be as permanent as the marker on which they are mounted. We undertake restoration work and do replace portraits that have turned into an opaque white and the picture has been lost. Invariably on the reverse once removed are the words made in the UK or made in England. It is a shame but the Italian manufacture of these products cannot be surpassed.

With regards to fitment these portraits are attached to the headstone using silicon sealant which is easily applied and is waterproof against the elements. On the reverse of the portrait because of the process there is an inner mark the same shape as the plaque, if you use that as a guide and place a generous amount of silicon within it and then press against the headstone for a few minutes you will feel the portrait adhere. Should any of the sealant be pressed out it is easily removed with a damp cloth. This is a simple and effective way of placing the portrait upon a memorial.

You may have a photograph that contains imperfections, like scratches and tears.  We can repairs most minor imperfections. Rest assured that what you deem major most likely will still be manageable in our porcelain portrait process.    

Combine Photos:  

How hard is it to find the perfect photo of a couple?  Often times, one person is smiling, while the other is looking away.  Once again, don’t worry! We can combine multiple images into one single image for your memorial gift. 

Red Eye:

This is most often caused by the flash on the camera that took the photograph.  Red Eye is easily corrected.

Remove Background:

You found the perfect photo of you loved one, but the background is horrible or just too busy.  For Keeps can remove the existing background and replace it with a more one simple that color fits with your loved one’s attire.
